Three current UFC champions hail from Africa. Welterweight and middleweight champions Kamaru Usman and Israel Adesanya represent their home country of Nigeria, while heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou grew up in Cameroon. All six of the populated continent have a current UFC champion.
