The foundations of the Octagon will shake on March 27 when the sport’s premier big men, UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic and number one contender Francis Ngannou meet for the second time in the main event of UFC 260. Widely considered to be the greatest heavyweight in UFC history, Miocic defeated Ngannou in 2018, but in his last four bouts, “The Predator” has scored four consecutive first-round knockouts, proving that he is more than ready to face Cleveland’s finest once again. Plus, fresh from a pair of victories over Max Holloway, UFC featherweight champion Alexander “The Great” Volkanovski defends his crown against Brian “T-City” Ortega.

I’m seeing a lot of people pick Francis for the upcoming fight against Stipe, which baffles me to a degree.

What is it you’re seeing in Francis that is so different from the last time? Because let’s face it he got beat up against Stipe last time they fought.

What improvements have you seen that are so significant that he can overcome a performance like that? Because all I’ve seen is less than 3 minutes of action, all of which the same old flaws have come up, him steaming in with zero defence, throwing wild hayemakers. Granted it’s heavyweight fighting and it only ever takes one shot, but it would have to be that for him to take this fight, because bar power, Stipe beats him in every department.
